Reality TV Star and Entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has revealed she was Diagnosed with a Brain Aneurysm

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 24, 2025) — Reality-TV star, entrepreneur and media personality Kim Kardashian revealed in a preview of her upcoming show that she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

In the teaser for Season 7 of her show The Kardashians on Hulu, Kardashian is shown undergoing an MRI scan and then telling her family, “There was, like, a little aneurysm.”

Doctors she consulted reportedly told her the finding was related to “stress,” according to Kardashian’s recounting in the episode.

“They were like ‘It’s just stress,’” Kim Kardashian says.

Kardashian, age 45, shares four children — North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7) and Psalm (6) — with her ex-husband Kanye West (also known as Ye).

She revealed that amid her divorce and co-parenting responsibilities, she felt increased emotional strain.

“I feel more stressed probably just because I have to protect my kids. … Everyone around can handle [the drama], but I want to protect my babies.”

In the same episode, she also discussed a flare-up of her psoriasis (a chronic skin condition) she hadn’t experienced since her divorce — tying it to her elevated stress levels.

According to the Mayo Clinic and other health authorities, a brain aneurysm (also called a cerebral aneurysm) is a bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel in the brain.

Many such aneurysms are small, asymptomatic and may go undetected. Aneurysms become medically urgent if they grow significantly, leak or rupture — a rupture leads to bleeding in the brain, commonly known as a hemorrhagic stroke.

Common risk factors include high blood pressure, smoking, genetics, head injuries, and possibly chronic stress (through elevated blood pressure or vascular strain).

While Kardashian described the aneurysm as “little,” and the doctors characterized it as related to stress, the show has not indicated that the aneurysm has ruptured or is causing acute neurological symptoms.

Various outlets report that the condition appears to be identified early. This suggests her case is being monitored rather than being treated as an immediate emergency.  However, any aneurysm carries potential risks if conditions change.

Kardashian’s disclosure may raise public awareness of brain aneurysms, their often silent nature, and the importance of vascular health. Though stress alone may not cause aneurysms, high stress and its effects (e.g., high blood pressure) are relevant to vascular risk.

Kardashian emphasized the role her personal and emotional stress may have had.

As a high-profile figure, her openness may encourage others to monitor underlying health issues even when not symptomatic.

While no definitive treatment plan has been detailed publicly, standard medical practice for an aneurysm found early often involves periodic imaging and monitoring of size and growth, controlling contributing health factors (blood pressure, smoking avoidance, etc.), considering preventive intervention (e.g., endovascular coiling or surgical clipping) if risk of rupture is judged significant.

Kardashian will likely be seen in upcoming episodes of her show addressing this health journey.
